Epson Singapore and Geylang International Football Club Announce Partnership for Sixth Consecutive Year

SINGAPORE, 5 February 2021 EpsonSingapore and Geylang International Football Club (GIFC) today announced its sponsorship renewal for the sixth consecutive year, with Epson as the Platinum sponsor for the 2021 season.

This extended partnership displays the strong relationship between the two organisations. The signing ceremony was held this afternoon at Epson’s new regional headquarters which houses two solution centers to showcase the organisation’s sustainable innovations in printing, visual imaging and robotics.

With the firm commitment of both organisations to support the football community and youths in Singapore, this year’s partnership solidifies the mutual commitment from both organisations to further advance new values in bridging sustainability and football for the benefit of Singaporean youths, as well as the broader community.

Mr Siew Jin Kiat, Regional Managing Director, Epson Southeast Asia said, “We are extremely pleased to extend our partnership with GIFC once again. Unveiled and presented to Mr Siew Jin Kiat, Regional Managing Director, Epson Southeast Asia and Mr. Thomas Gay, Chairman of GIFC at the partnership renewal event were limited-edition jerseys, which were designed to specifically honour and celebrate the 6-years of strong partnership between Epson Singapore and GIFC. The jerseys were printed using Epson SureColor dye-sublimation digital textile printer, the first of more sustainability initiatives that will be rolled out in 2021. The design is infused with colours to reflect positivity following a challenging year in 2020, with the vibrant colours signifying new hopes and dreams for the year ahead. For this year’s jersey, the limited edition incorporates a 6-year logo to honour the on-going partnership between Epson Singapore and GIFC.

Mr. Thomas Gay, Chairman of GIFC said, “Our partnership with Epson is bringing us closer to our goals of proactively improving opportunities in our local communities.
